REFUND POLICY. If you have not had the opportunity to discuss your case yet with one of our attorneys, you may still book your consult with us. Within the first five minutes of the consult, the attorney will be able to ascertain whether the law firm can help or not. If the lawyer believes that a consultation will not provide a benefit to the client, the lawyer will inform the client within the first five minutes, and the client will have the option to immediately terminate the consultation and receive a full refund of the consult fee.
We respect your valuable time and resources, and we will not conduct a one-hour consultation unless we believe we can provide critical information and hopefully a path to immigration success.
Consultation fees can be paid by credit card, PayPal, check. or cash, and shall be paid prior to the beginning of 1-hour consultation.
Our law practice is national and we serve clients throughout the U.S. and the world. These days, most of our meetings with clients and prospective clients are conducted online, via Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp, Facetime, or Google Meet.
We are currently offering in-person meetings in Cleveland, Columbus, Ann-Arbor, and Charlotte.
For employment-based immigration matters, Attorney Charmaine Rozario also assists in conducting consultations.

If the document review is done online, please email us your packet (preferably in one or two PDF files). If you are coming to our office, please bring your entire packet with you.

Charmaine Rozario is an employment immigration lawyer in Cleveland, Ohio who practiced law in the High Court of Bombay prior to immigrating to the United States. Charmaine has led Herman Legal Group’s Business Immigration Department since 2002, representing some of the Midwest’s fastest growing and dynamic employers. Jathniel Shao
Jathniel Shao is a lawyer in New York, Chicago, Cleveland, and Manila. Originally from Binondo, the world’s oldest Chinatown, Jath grew up bouncing between Asia and America and speaks Hokkien, Mandarin, and Tagalog fluently. He practices the full spectrum of immigration law, from the humanitarian asylum, refugee, or special immigration petitions to all types of family-based and employment immigration and removal defense. He is a member of the bars of New York, Ohio, and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.Jath received his BA from Beloit College in Wisconsin, and his JD from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where he was a founding board member of the Asian Law Student Association (ALSA) and the Filipino American Lawyers Association of Ohio (FALA Ohio). At the same time, he was a law clerk here at Herman Legal Group. Luis attended The Ohio State University for his undergraduate degree and obtained his law degree from Capital University Law School. Vania Stefanova is the head of the Immigration Litigation Division at Herman Legal Group, providing services in removal/deportation defense and appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals. An immigrant from Bulgaria, Vania has over 20 years of experience in immigration law. Throughout her successful career, she has handled matters in all areas of immigration law.
