Daysi earned her Law degree at the Catholic University of Paraguay. One of her first awards was obtaining the Gold Medal Student in primary school.
She grew up being trilingual: Spanish, Guarani (Guarani is the Paraguayan’s native Indigenous language), and English is her third language.
An immigrant herself who knows all the struggle that an immigration process can carry, she is patient and passionate about helping people from around the world. Back in Paraguay, she was a volunteer and host-home for Exchange Students from different countries. She took a Course in Bioethics at The Notre Dame College of Ohio. Daysi was part of the first generation of Youth Ambassadors, that’s when she met in person the First Lady Laura Bush at The White House in Washington DC. That same year she participated in the Summit with Partners of the Americas in Belo Horizonte – Minas Gerais, Brazil.
